We started Alta to raise the standard.
After years of working in the roofing industry, we saw too much of what should not happen. Broken promises, poor communication, and good people not getting paid for honest work.
That is why we started Alta Roofing, to raise the standard and restore trust in an industry that too often earns a bad reputation. We believe roofing should be straightforward. Communicate clearly, do what you say you are going to do, treat people right, and stand behind your work.
Our mission is to give Colorado homeowners an honest, professional roofing experience built around transparency, quality craftsmanship and real service, from the first inspection through the final walkthrough.

Alta was built to be the opposite of that. We are your neighbours in El Paso and Pueblo counties. We inspect honestly, we explain plainly, and we stand behind the work with manufacturer warranties and our own lifetime workmanship warranty. No pressure, just honest answers.
It is also why attic ventilation is on the front page of this website rather than buried. Most roofers replace shingles. Checking what is under them, and sizing intake and exhaust properly, is the part that decides whether your new roof reaches its expected life or quietly fails early, outside its warranty.

A Colorado native of more than 40 years. I have spent seven years in construction with a background in finish carpentry, roof installation and repairs, after more than 20 years as a chef. A man of faith with God, family and country first. Always moving forward is the motto I live by.

My path in construction started by sweeping job sites, then a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Colorado State University. I have built a career across single-family construction, commercial project management and residential remodeling. At Alta I help homeowners navigate roofing with clarity, especially insurance claims, documentation and making sure every detail is accounted for.
Kayli Elliott
Sales & Operations
Kayli brings an extensive and diverse background in the construction industry, with nearly a decade of experience spanning sales management, account management, general contracting, commercial and residential roofing, and branch and regional operations. Her experience in leadership, business development, and project management has given her a well-rounded understanding of the industry. She is passionate about building lasting relationships, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and finding innovative solutions to challenges.
Outside of work, Kayli enjoys spending time with her husband, Cameron, and their three dogs, Bailey, Hero, and Rocket. She has a passion for animals, interior design, home improvement, and exploring Colorado’s beautiful outdoors. Whether she’s tackling a new renovation project, spending a day in the mountains with her family, or enjoying time at home with her dogs, she loves staying active and creative.
Kayli is excited to bring her knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm to the Alta Roofing team and looks forward to building meaningful relationships with her colleagues and customers alike!

Out-of-pocket guarantee
On covered restoration work our goal is simple. You pay your deductible and any upgrades you choose, and nothing more for the covered scope. If the approved scope is missing legitimate covered work, we handle the documentation and supplement rather than passing the cost to you. Final terms follow your policy, coverage, approved scope, code and any upgrades you select.

The truth, even when it costs us
If we do not believe your roof needs replacing, we tell you. We do not manufacture damage or recommend work you do not need simply to make a sale.

We evaluate the components that decide how long a roof lasts, including ventilation, flashing, underlayment, decking condition and drainage, to find what should be addressed as part of the project.
